The research team combines UCD’s strengths in cultural criticism and social network analysis, traditional humanities and new computational approaches, established and early stage researchers.

Gerardine Meaney (Director)

Gerardine Meaney is Director of the UCD Centre for Cultural Analytics and Professor of Cultural Theory in the School of English, Drama and Film.

derek Greene

Dr. Derek Greene is Assistant Professor at the UCD School of Computer Science, and a Funded Investigator at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics.

Emilie Pine

Emilie Pine is Associate Professor in Modern Drama at UCD, and author of the No.1 bestseller Notes to Self.

Margaret Kelleher

Margaret Kelleher is Professor and Chair of Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama at UCD.

Susan Leavy

Susan Leavy is a postdoctoral research fellow with Insight Centre for Data Analytics and the UCD School of English, Drama and Film.

Lucy Collins

Lucy Collins is Associate Professor in the School of English, Drama and Film at University College Dublin. Her area of research is twentieth-century poetry in English.

Maria Mulvany

Maria Mulvany is an Irish Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of English, Drama and Film (2021-22) where she is currently working on a project provisionally entitled "Ghostly Fictions: Haunting, Trauma and Time in Contemporary Irish Historical Fiction".

KAREN wADE

Karen Wade is Lecturer in Cultural Analytics in the School of English, Drama and Film. Her current research interests include 19th-century and Romantic-era fiction, social network analysis, gender, autobiography and life-writing, correspondence, linguistic landscape, & book history.

Briony Wickes

Briony Wickes is European Research Council Research Fellow on VICTEUR. Research and teaching interests include nineteenth-century literature, the environmental humanities, and settler colonial studies.

Lauren Cassidy

Lauren Cassidy is a PhD student in the UCD School of English, Drama and Film. Her research interests include contemporary Irish feminist novels, gender and sexuality studies, and the digital humanities.

Katie Mishler

Katie Mishler is IRC Enterprise Partnership Postdoctoral Fellow on Mapping Gothic Dublin.

Lynda Mulvin

Lynda Mulvin is Associate Professor in the UCD School of Art History and Cultural Policy.
